Nothing Too Hard for God

“Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for Me?”Jeremiah 32:27

I’m reminded of that viral video of a famous weightlifter disguised as a gym cleaner. He quietly moves around the gym, picking up towels and sweeping floors, until someone jokingly challenges him to lift a heavy weight. The onlookers laugh, assuming it’s far too heavy for him. But then—effortlessly—he lifts it. The room falls silent, faces turn to awe, and soon laughter fills the space again, but this time mixed with amazement.

That’s exactly how this verse makes me feel. We often underestimate God’s strength—just as those gym-goers underestimated the cleaner’s. We look at our problems, our impossible situations, and think, “This is too hard.” Yet God graciously reminds us, “Nothing is too hard for Me.”

When I remember that God holds worlds in His hands, my perspective shifts. The earth itself is just a tiny dot in His vast universe, and yet He cares for me—personally and tenderly. That thought doesn’t intimidate me; it comforts me. It means every overwhelming task, every worry, every “too-hard” thing I face is already well within His power to handle. So why do I stress? Why do I worry? God’s already carrying it all.

“The Lord is my strength and my shield;
My heart trusted in Him, and I am helped;
Therefore my heart greatly rejoices,
And with my song I will praise Him.”
Psalm 28:7

Because I know who He is—strong, capable, and loving—I can rejoice even in the busiest seasons. There’s no need for panic, no reason to be weighed down by endless to-do lists. God’s daily “to-do list” far surpasses mine, yet He invites me to add mine to His. Why? Because He loves me and wants me to find rest in His matchless power.

So today, if something feels too heavy to carry—hand it over.
You’ll be amazed at how effortlessly God lifts what once felt impossible.
