Praise Him at All Times

“I will bless the Lord at all times;
His praise shall continually be in my mouth.
My soul shall make its boast in the Lord;
The humble shall hear of it and be glad.
Oh, magnify the Lord with me,
And let us exalt His name together.”
Psalm 34:1–3

This Scripture calls me to bless the Lord at all times.
All. All. ALL times.

There are days when I feel spiritually weak and “off.”
This verse reminds me to praise Him even then.

There are days when I feel spiritually strong and victorious.
This verse reminds me to praise Him then too.

But what about the days when I can hardly speak—when my soul feels weighed down by the cares of this world?
Answer: Whisper your praises, even if that’s all you can manage.
God hears your silent cries just as clearly as He hears your loudest shouts of praise.

So, whatever situation you find yourself in right now, join me in praising the Lord:

  • Praise God for His goodness. He saw it fit for you to wake up this morning.

  • Praise God for His protection. In the midst of chaos and uncertainty, you are safe and sound.

  • Praise God for His acceptance. Even when you feel unworthy, He invites you to draw near.

  • Praise God for His faithfulness. Did you have a meal yesterday or today? That’s His care in action.

  • Praise God for His glory and majesty. He is greater and brighter than your darkest problems.

Praise Him! Praise Him! Jesus, our blessed Redeemer.
Praise Him for willingly dying on the cross for your iniquities, sins, and transgressions.
Without His sacrifice, we would be lost—both in this life and in the life to come.

We owe our lives to Him.

So, as the Psalmist says:

“Oh, magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt His name together.”

Application

Whatever season you’re in, there’s one response that always fits: Praise Him.

  • Struggling with something right now? → Praise Him!

  • Rejoicing in victory? → Praise Him!

  • Enjoying a season of calm and contentment? → Praise Him!

  • Walking through a spiritually dry place? → Praise Him!

Because no matter the time, no matter the circumstance—
He is always worthy of praise.
